Appeal after teenager robbed and assaulted in Glasgow Green
Police are appealing for information after a 15-year-old boy was assaulted and robbed in Glasgow Green on Wednesday, 14 July, 2021.
Around 6.45 pm on Wednesday evening, the 15-year-old boy entered the park with friends. He was subsequently assaulted, suffering minor injuries, and robbed of clothing and jewellery.
All involved then dispersed and police were called. The suspects for the assault and robbery are described as:
1. White, very pale, around 16-years-old, 5 ft 6 ins tall, brown hair, of skinny build, wearing a black t-shirt and dark jogging bottoms. He was riding a black bike and had a Glasgow accent.
2. White, very pale, around 17-years-old, of skinny build and had a Glasgow accent. He was wearing a light brown skip cap, black rucksack, black jacket, black joggers.
3. White, around 18-year-old, 6ft, of large build, wearing grey hooded top with black hood and black sleeves, bright blue jogging bottoms, disposable blue face mask. He had a Glasgow accent and was riding a bright green bike.
4. White, around 19-years-old, of heavy build, 5ft 11 ins tall , ginger facial hair or short beard, and had a Glasgow accent. He was wearing a black tracksuit, skinny jogging bottoms.
5. White, around 20-years-old, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and had a Glasgow accent. He was wearing navy jogging bottoms and a navy skip cap.
Detective Constable Natalie Timothy, Greater Glasgow Community Investigation Unit, Govan, said:
"The park was busy at the time and I know that a number of people will have witnessed the attack.
