Appeal after robbery in Glasgow
Officers are appealing for information following a robbery on Eldon Street in the city.
The incident happened shortly before 3am on Thursday, 22 July near the junction with Woodlands Road.
A 20-year-old man was approached by an unidentified man and threatened before handing over a sum of cash from a wallet.
The man is described as being white, around 5ft 6in tall and wearing a baggy black hooded top with grey sleeves and grey jogging bottoms.
Following the incident he left in the direction of the River Kelvin and Kelvinbridge Subway Station.
Constable Eden Crothers of the Glasgow Robbery Unit said: “The victim was uninjured but understandably shaken by the experience.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity on or around Eldon Street in the early hours of Thursday morning to come forward.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage or private CCTV.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting incident 0540 of 22 July or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
