Two charged in connection with assault in Hamilton

Police Scotland can confirm two male youths have been arrested and charged in connection with an assault on Margaret Road in Hamilton.

The incident happened around 11pm on Saturday, 9 January and resulted in two men, aged 40 and 19. were taken to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment.

The males, aged 16 and 15, are due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court at a later date.

Further enquiries are ongoing.
