Drugs recovery - Men arrested - Airdrie
A cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of £300,000 has been seized by officers in Airdrie.
Around 10.45 am on Wednesday, 13 January 2021, officers, acting on information, searched a commercial unit in Railway Road, Airdrie, and discovered the cannabis cultivation of approximately 500 plants.
Two men, aged 29 and 37 years, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. They are due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Thursday, 14 January, 2021. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
