Update – Serious road crash on Royston Road, Glasgow
Police in Glasgow can confirm that the motorcyclist injured in a crash in Royston Road earlier this week has died.
The crash happened around 4.15pm on Monday, 22 February, and involved grey Ford Kuga and a white Honda CB650 motorcycle near to the entrance of the British Car Auctions premises.
The 61-year-old motorcyclist who was being treated for his injuries at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital died on Wednesday, 24 February.
The 46 year-old driver of the Ford Kuga was uninjured.
Sergeant Kenny Malaney of the Road Policing Unit at Glasgow said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the motorcyclist at this difficult time. Our enquiries into this crash are ongoing and we are urging any witnesses, or anyone with information that may assist our investigation, to contact us through 101 quoting reference number 2323 of 22 February.”
