Man charged in connection with death in Grahams Road, Falkirk
Police Scotland has charged a man in connection with the death of a 73-year-old man in Falkirk.
Officers and emergency services were called to an address in Grahams Road at around 10.45am on Tuesday, 23 February, 2021, following a report of concern for one of the occupants.
A 73-year-old man was found with fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He can be named as Alexander Alastair Gray (known as Alastair) from Falkirk. His family are aware.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death and is expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court today (Wednesday, 24 February, 2021).
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Inspector Robert Andrews, from Falkirk CID: “Our thoughts are with Alastair’s family and friends at this time and we have specialist officers supporting them. They have asked that their privacy be respected as they come to terms with what’s happened.
“We are satisfied that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.”
