Appeal following wilful fire raising in Bellshill
Police Scotland is appealing for information following a wilful fire raising in Bellshill.
The incident happened around 12.55am on Monday, 22 February, 2021, when a digger was set on fire at a premises on Philip Murray Road.
Detective Constable Murray McMillan, of Lanarkshire CID, said: “I am asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.
“In addition, anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the incident and may have dash-cam footage that would help with our investigation is asked to call us.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0117 of 22 February, or to make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
