Teenager robbed of mountain bike in Wishaw
Detectives in Wishaw are appealing for information after a teenager was robbed of their mountain bike on Saturday evening.
The incident took place at a playpark in the Kirk Road area, around 6.20pm on Saturday, 18 December.
The victim, a 16-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries as a result. The bike is described as being a ‘toxic green’ Apollo Valier mountain bike.
The suspects are described as being three teenage boys and a teenage girl, all dressed in dark clothing. They were last seen heading along Kirk Road.
Detective Constable Murray McMillan, from Wishaw CID, said: “We’re appealing to anyone who witnessed the robbery, or was in the Kirk Road area on Saturday around the time of the incident and saw the teens involved, to please come forward.
“We’re also keen to speak with anyone who believes they may have seen the bike in question in or around Wishaw.”
