Teenager arrested after assault in Clydebank
A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault on a woman in Clydebank.
The incident happened on Hawthorn Street on Sunday, 12 December, shortly after midnight.
A 26-year-old woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
The 17-year-old is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing and detectives from Clydebank CID are continuing to appeal to any witnesses to come forward.
