Man charged after £375,000 worth of drugs recovered in Glasgow
Detectives in Glasgow can confirm that a six-figure sum of drugs has been seized following a proactive operation in the Milton area.
Around 8am on Thursday, 16 December, 2021, a warrant was executed at a property on Liddesdale Terrace. A quantity of heroin, cocaine and etizolam tablets was recovered, with an estimated total street value of over £375,000.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. He has been released on undertaking to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
Detective Chief Inspector John Morrison said: “Drug misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities and I want to reassure the public that we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
