CCTV release - Serious assault, Whifflet, Coatbridge

Police Scotland has released images of a man they believe may hold information which might assist in relation to a serious assault that occurred at Whifflet Street, Whifflet, Coatbridge, around 0.15 am on Sunday, 28 November 2021.

The man pictured is described as being of slim build, with light coloured hair, average height, wearing dark clothing and shoes and a distinctive blue camouflage North Face jacket.

Detective Constable Shemain Murphy said:

"I would urge the man depicted in the images, or anyone who has information relating to him, contact police via 101. Please quote reference number 0289 of Sunday, 28 November, 2021 when calling. Alternatively, calls can be made anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
