Appeal for information following robbery in Glasgow
Police in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses following a robbery of a 36-year-old man.
The incident occurred in the Saracen area of the city around 9.40pm on Tuesday, 28 December, 2021.
The suspects approached the victim on Panmure Street, assaulted him and stole his electric scooter.
The victim sustained injuries to his face and body during incident.
Officers are keen to trace two men in connection with the incident - one of whom is described as a white male, slim build, approx. 6ft tall with light brown hair and was wearing a black bubble jacket and dark tracksuit bottoms.
The second male is described as white, stocky build, approx. 6ft 2in tall, unkempt appearance and was wearing a dark beanie hat, dark clothing and colourful scarf.
Detective Constable Fiona MacKenzie of Greater Glasgow Robbery Unit said: “This was a was very frightening experience for the victim and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
“I urge anyone who saw either of the males matching the descriptions to get in touch. Also, anyone with dashcam footage who was in the area around the time of the incident or anyone with any information which could assist our investigation should contact police via 101, quoting incident number 3044 of 28 December, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
