Appeal following serious assault in Stevenston
Police in Ayrshire are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in Stevenston.
The incident took place on Glencairn Street around 10.30pm on Friday, 17 December, 2021, when a 46-year-old man was assaulted by two men in his back garden.
The victim was taken to University Hospital Crosshouse in Kilmarnock for treatment for facial injuries.
Both suspects are male and one of the males is described as approx. 5ft 4in tall and of slim build.
Detective Constable Kevin Simpson, of Saltcoats CID, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen two males acting suspiciously in the Glencairn Street area either before or after the incident.
