Appeal following serious assault in East Kilbride
Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in East Kilbride over the weekend.
The incident took place on Mulberry Drive, between 2pm and 2.15pm on Saturday, 4 December, 2021, when a man exited a white Mercedes car and carried out the assault.
The victim, a 40-year-old man, was taken to Wishaw General Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Constable Natalie Barrie, of Rutherglen Police Station, said: “We are urging anyone with information on who is responsible for this attack to please come forward.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone with CCTV from the area, or any motorists who were near Mulberry Drive around the time of the incident and may have potential dashcam footage.
