Appeal following assault at underpass in Arbroath
Police in Arbroath are appealing for information following an assault, which took place on Sunday, 12 December.
The incident took place between 7.15pm and 7.30pm at an underpass connecting West John Street and Robert Street. The victim, a 39-year-old man, was attacked and left with a serious injury to his elbow.
The suspect is described as being a man, around 5ft 10 with an average build. He was dressed all in black, with a hood up and wearing a black face mask.
After the incident, the suspect was seen running in the direction of Morrisons and West John Street.
Constable Stephen Adam, from Arbroath Police Station, said: “We’re looking to hear from anyone who was in the area any may have seen anything suspicious, or believes they saw the man in question.
