Wilful fireraising in Pollokshields, Glasgow
Detectives are appealing for information after a number of cars were set on fire in Pollokshields on Tuesday, 17 August.
Around 2.35am on Tuesday morning, officers were called to a report of five cars set on fire on Herriet Street and Maxwell Road. The fires were extinguished and no one was injured.
Two men were seen at the vehicles and officers are working to identify them. One was wearing dark-coloured clothing and one was wearing a light-coloured hooded top and dark-coloured trousers.
Detective Constable Heather Ferry said: “We believe this was a targeted attack by these two men and I would urge anyone who was in the area early on Tuesday morning, who seen them acting suspiciously, or who has any information or footage regarding this crime to contact us.”
