Update – serious road crash on the A857 near Stornoway

Police Scotland can confirm that a passenger involved in a one car crash on the A857 Stornoway to Barvas road on the Isle of Lewis at Newmarket on Wednesday, 28 July, has died.

He was Alasdair Macdonald, 78, a local man. His family have asked for privacy at this time.
