Update – Drugs operation – Foxbar area of Paisley

Further arrests and charges have been made in relation to a drugs operation in Paisley which resulted in more than half a million Etizolam tablets being seized.

A 45-year-old woman and 44 year old man were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery in June and appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, 11 June, 2021.

Now four men have also been arrested and charged in connection with the seizure. The men, aged 35, 26, 22 and 32 are due to appear in court at a later date.

Detective Inspector Ian Ross said: “Officers continue to work to stamp out drugs offences and the misery drugs cause in our communities. This was a significant recovery and we urge the public to get in touch if they have any information that can help combat drug abuse.”
