Appeal following wilful fireraising in Paisley
Officers in Paisley are appealing for information following an incident of wilful fireraising in the area.
Around 4.30am on Tuesday, 10 August, police were called to a report of a fire at a property on Motehill Road, Paisley.
As a result damage was caused to the front door of the property. Nobody was hurt during the incident.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for the assistance of the public.
Detective Constable Laura Sokolov, of Paisley CID said: Thankfully nobody was injured as a result of this reckless act.
“Enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to trace those responsible.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or who has any information which may assist us in relation to this to get in touch.”
