Appeal following fire in Whitebridge
Police Scotland is appealing for information following a fire which happened at a house in Teanassie in Whitebridge.
The fire started around 3.30pm on Monday, 23 August, 2021 and was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. No-one was injured as a result and officers are treating the fire as unexplained.
Detective Sergeant Graeme Johnstone of CID in Inverness :
“We are trying to establish the cause of the fire, which we are treating as unexplained. The fire caused extensive damage to the property with the roof and first floor having collapsed. Thankfully no-one was hurt and officers remain at the scene.
“I would like to appeal to anyone who in the area around 3pm on Monday to come forward, you may have witnessed something that could assist our enquiries. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 2482 of 23 August.”
