Teenage Girl Grabbed By Man – Springburn Park. Glasgow
Police officers from Maryhill Police Office are continuing enquiries and appealing for information following an incident in Springburn Park on Saturday, 17 April, 2021.
Around 9pm on Saturday, 17 April, 2021, a man dressed in black clothing and wearing a balaclava grabbed a 16-year-old girl as she walked through Springburn Park, Glasgow near to the boating pond.
The girl managed to run away from the man and called police.
Detective Sergeant Larry Dempsey at Maryhill CID said:
“This was a very frightening experience for the young teenage girl and luckily she managed she run away from the suspect.
“It is vital that we trace the man responsible and we are currently reviewing any available CCTV in area.
“Anyone who was in Springburn Park around 9pm on Saturday, 17 April and remembers seeing a man hanging around there who was dressed in dark clothing is urged to contact police immediately.”
