Renewed appeal in connection with man found injured in Stirling
Police in Stirling have renewed an appeal for information as enquiries continue into a man found injured in the city.
The 46-year-old man was found lying on Clark Street around 8.30am on Tuesday, 27 April.
He was taken to the Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment to serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Enquiries into how he came to be injured are ongoing and officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
In particular they are keen to identify a man who is believed to have been in the area at the time.
He is described as being around 6ft tall, medium build and using a golf style umbrella.
He was wearing a black jacket with small white writing on the upper left chest area, dark blue jeans and plimsoll type trainers with a light/white coloured sole.
He is believed to have been a passer-by and he may able to provide information which is helpful to the enquiry.
Detective Inspector Craig Higgins said: "“Detectives are continuing to carry out enquiries in the Clark Street and surrounding area to establish how this man has suffered these injuries.
“I would ask if you were in the area at the time of the incident or have any information that could assist with our investigation that you come forward and speak to officers.
"In particular if you recognise the man from this description or recognise yourself then please get in touch as you may have information which could help.
“I am also renewing our appeal to any motorists who drove down Clark Street on Tuesday morning and may have dashcam footage that may be able to help us with our enquiries.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0519 of Tuesday, 27 April, 2021."
