Man charged in connection with fatal crash in Falkirk

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Falkirk.

The incident happened on Polmont Road near the junction with Dundas Road around 8.55pm on Friday, 6 November, 2020.

Sixteen-year-old cyclist Harley Smith was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident.

The 28-year-old man is expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday, 22 April, 2021.
