Man charged following Kelso and Hawick break-ins

Police Scotland can confirm that a 52-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to a series of break-ins to businesses and cars in the Kelso and Hawick areas.

The incidents took place throughout February 2021. The man is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Saturday, 3 April, 2021.

Detective Sergeant Jamie Gilmore, from Galashiels CID, said: "We'd like to thank the public for their assistance in bringing these enquiries to a successful conclusion."
