Investigation into two sudden deaths in Stirling

Officers in Stirling are continuing to investigate the sudden deaths of two men, aged 55 and 62, at a property on Cowane Street, Stirling, which were reported to police around 12.10pm on Friday, 2 April.

The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained. As part of the investigation, a 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act, however he has been released pending further enquiries.

Detective Inspector Craig Higgins, from Stirling CID, said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of the two men at this time. I am aware that there has been some speculation around these deaths and I’d like to thank the community for their patience and understanding as we carry out our enquiries.
