Drugs recovery, Quarry Street, Hamilton
Officers in Hamilton have recovered a large cannabis cultivation worth an estimated street value of £269,400, following an intelligence-led operation.
Search warrants were executed at two flats in Quarry Street on Monday, 26 April.
Officers discovered a large quantity of cannabis plants in both properties.
Constable John Tennyson from Larkhall Police Station said: “This was a significant recovery and enquiries are ongoing to trace the person or persons responsible.
“Drugs can have a devastating impact on communities and we would continue to encourage members of the public to support our efforts to tackle this issue.
