CCTV appeal following assault – Hope Street, Glasgow
Police in Glasgow have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to as they believe they may be able to assist with their enquiries following an assault which occurred in the city centre on Saturday, 28 November, 2020. The incident occurred between 11.15pm and 11.30pm on Hope Street near to Gordon Street, just opposite Central Station, a result of which, a man required hospital treatment.
The men in the images are described as white and both can be seen to be wearing dark clothing, one with a beanie hat and black trainers with a white stripe on the side.
Detective Constable Vhairi Mills, of Greater Glasgow CID, Stewart Street, said: “There were a number of people in the area at the time, including these two men, and we believe they may have information that can help with our enquiries.
“We are eager to identify the two men in the images and would urge them, or anyone who recognises them to get in touch by calling us on 101, quoting incident number 4346 of Saturday, 28 November, 2020, or contact the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
