Break-in and theft - Cambuslang
Detectives at Cambuslang are appealing for information after a break-in and theft from a shop in Cambuslang on Thursday, 22 April.
Around 1.40am on Thursday, 22 April, officers were called to a report of a break-in and theft from Day Today on Woodland Crescent. Significant damage was caused to the outside of the store and a five-figure sum of cash was stolen from an ATM machine at the shop.
A number of enquiries are ongoing to trace the suspects and the vehicle involved, which was a dark-blue Audi estate.
Detective Constable Christine McLanachan, of Cambuslang Police Station, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries in Woodland Crescent and speaking to members of the public. We are gathering and viewing CCTV footage from in and around the local area to help us trace the Audi involved and find out where it travelled to after the incident.
“At this time, I would like to hear from anyone with any information on this crime or the vehicle involved, including anyone with dash-cam footage who may have witnessed anything significant to this enquiry.
