Appeal after man assaulted in Moodiesburn
Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted on Bridgeburn Drive in Moodiesburn, Lanarkshire.
The 33-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to injuries to his arms and head following the incident which happened around 10.30pm on Friday, 23 April.
The incident involved a group of eight or nine males all dressed in dark clothing with their hoods up.
After the assault they left in an unknown direction.
Detective Constable Lyndsay McKinnon of Coatbridge Police Station said: "Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have been in the area around that time to come forward.
"I would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage.
