Four charged following serious assault on Glasgow Road, Dumbarton

Detectives in Clydebank have arrested and charged four male youths, aged 16, 16, 14 and 14 in connection with a serious assault in Dumbarton.

The incident happened on a footpath near to Dumbarton East train station on Glasgow Road at around 9.30pm on Friday, 11 September.

Two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy were assaulted, with one taken to hospital with a serious head injury.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
