Fatal road crash - A82, Borlum Farm, Drumnadrochit
Police are appealing for information following a road crash in the Highlands in which a woman has died.
Around 3.15 pm on Monday, 12 October, 2020, a southbound blue Citroen C3 and a grey Honda CRV travelling north collided on the A82, Borlum Farm, Drumnadrochit.
Emergency services attended, however, the 24-year-old female passenger of the Citroen C3 died at the scene.
The driver of the Citroen C3, a 27-year-old man, and the 56-year-old female driver of the Honda CRV, were both taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. The man is described by medical staff as serious but stable and the woman is stable.
Sergeant David Miller, Road Policing Unit, Highlands and Islands, said:
"Although we have spoken to a number of people who stopped following the crash, we are still keen to hear from anyone who saw the crash or possibly the cars on the road just prior to the collision. We're also looking for any dash-cam footage of the area at the time.
"Information can be passed to Road Policing Officers at Dingwall Police Station via 101. Please quote reference number 1838 of 12 October 2020 when calling."
The road was re-opened at 9.30pm.
