Appeal for witnesses after serious assault in Netherton Park, Knightswood
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault which occurred in the Knightswood area of Glasgow on Friday 25 September 2020.
Around 10.45pm a 33 year old man was within Netherton Park, near to Shafton Road, when he was approached by an unknown person who assaulted him.
Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a laceration.
Detective Constable David Orr from Drumchapel CID said: “Details of the suspect and the circumstances surrounding this incident are limited at this stage and it is vital that anyone with information comes forward.
“I would appeal to anyone who was within Netherton Park last Friday night, who may have witnessed the incident, or noticed anything at all suspicious, to please get in touch.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 4455 of Friday 25 September 2020. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence.”
