Appeal after teenager struck by van in Fort William
Police in Fort William are appealing for information after a 14-year-old girl was seriously injured after being struck by a van.
The incident happened around 6.15pm on Tuesday, 13 October on Lundavra Road in Fort William.
The girl, who was on foot, was taken to the Belford Hospital in Fort William and subsequently transferred to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, where her condition is described as stable.
The 47-year-old male driver of the white Citroen van was uninjured.
Sergeant Ewan Calder of the Road Policing Unit in Fort William said: "We are working to establish the full circumstances of this incident and would urge anyone with information who hasn't already spoken to an officer to get in touch.
"We would be particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have private CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident.
"Anyone with information can call 101, quoting incident 2634 of 15 October."
