Woman pedestrian dies following crash in Johnstone
Police Scotland can confirm that a woman has died after being struck by a car in Walkinshaw Street, Johnstone.
The incident happened around 11.45am on Thursday, 29 October, at the junction with the High Street. Two women, one aged 73 and one aged 80, were both taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
The 80-year-old pedestrian has now sadly died.
Enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances of what happened and anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1140 of Thursday, 29 October 2020.”
