Officers appeal for information following a hit and run in Inverness
Officers are continuing enquiries following a hit and run In Inverness on Sunday, 14 November, 2021.
Around 1.20pm a woman was on Kintail Crescent when she was struck by a silver coloured car which mounted the pavement. Emergency services attended and the 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital due to having a suspected leg fracture. She has since been released.
Officers have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries and are checking CCTV footage from in and around the area for any additional information on the vehicle and occupants.
The vehicle is a silver coloured car with a male driver and female passenger. The car drove up Kintail Crescent and turned towards Oldtown Road.
Constable Paul Ross said: “I would urge anyone who believes they can assist us in identifying the car or who may have any other information that could help with our investigation to contact us. I would ask anyone with dash cam devices to check their footage as there could be images which could aid our enquiries. Any small piece of information could prove significant so please do pass it on.”
