Man found dead on beach at Longniddry identified


Police Scotland can confirm the body discovered on the beach at Longniddry on Wednesday, 4 November, has been identified as a 79-year-old man from the local area.


The media and members of the public are thanked for their assistance with this matter.


There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
