Man arrested and charged in connection with Stevenston robbery

A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Stevenston, North Ayrshire.

The incident happened around 2.15pm on Thursday, 29 October, 2020, when a 22-year-old man was threatened with a knife and robbed on the footpath between Glencairn Street and Townhead Street.

The man is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today (Monday, 2 November, 2020).

Detective Constable Fionntan Rankin, of Saltcoats CID, said: "We would like to thank the public for sharing the previous appeal and assisting with our enquiries."
