Appeal following serious assault near Gairbraid Parish Church, Glasgow
Detectives in Glasgow are appealing for information to assist their enquiries into a serious assault, which took place in the Maryhill area of Glasgow last week.
The attack took place on the canal path beside Gairbraid Parish Church at around 11pm on Thursday, 5 November. The victim, a 46-year-old man, suffered serious injuries as a result and was treated at Hospital.
Detective Constable Katrina Keogh, from Greater Glasgow CID, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have been in this area of Maryhill around the time of the incident on Thursday and saw anything suspicious to please come forward.
“At this time, we’d also ask any nearby individuals or businesses with potential CCTV footage to get in touch, as it may prove useful to our investigation.”
