Appeal following fatal crash, M8, Riddrie, Glasgow

Road policing officers are appealing following a road crash on the eastbound carriageway of the M8 near junction 13, Riddrie.

The crash happened around 2.30pm on Friday, 13 November, 2020, when a black Jaguar XF collided with a number of vehicles before coming to a stop on the hard shoulder.

The 71-year-old driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene and his family have been informed. No one else was injured.

Anyone who may have seen what happened or who has dash-cam footage that could help with the investigation is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2014 of Friday, 13 November.
