Appeal after robbery in Bothwell, Lanarkshire
Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for information after a robbery within a house in Bothwell.
The incident happened on Glebe Hollow around 5.30pm on Saturday, 21 November. Three men wearing disposable face masks forced their way into the house and threatened two women, aged 49 and 59. They ransacked through the house and stole a three figure sum of cash.
They left in a grey/silver coloured Audi A3 saloon.
It is believed the robbery may have been targeted.
Detective Constable Ruth Whyte, of Cambuslang CID, said: "The occupants of the house are understandably shaken but were not seriously injured during the incident.
"We have carried out door to door and CCTV enquiries and are now appealing for the public's help.
"I would ask anyone who knows anything about this incident, saw a vehicle matching the description or people acting suspiciously around the area to contact us "
