Witness appeal after robbery in Wishaw

Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Wishaw.
The incident happened near Perchy Pond around 9pm on Thursday, 30 April, 2020. A 40-year-old man was punched and kicked by three or four men before they stole his jacket. He was taken to Wishaw General hospital with a serious head injury.
The suspects are described as late teens wearing tracksuits and hooded tops. One was carrying a rucksack and another had a baseball cap on. The suspects were drinking alcohol at the pond shortly before the incident happened.
Detective Constable Neil White, of Wishaw CID, said: "We're appealing to anyone who witnessed this attack or has any information relating to who might've been involved to contact us."
