Wilful Fire-Raising - Cumbrae Road, Renfrew

Police at Paisley are continuing enquiries after a Renfrew couple had their front door set on fire.
Around 11.30 pm on Friday, 22 May, 2020, the 50-year-old woman and 66-year-old man were within their home in Cumbrae Road, Renfrew when their front door was set on fire.
Emergency services attended and the couple were taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where they were both assessed for smoke inhalation and are due to be released after treatment.
Detective Constable Lauren McGill at Paisley CID said:
“Deliberately starting fires is a reckless act and we are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch.
“Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity, witnessed the incident, who has dashcam footage or private CCTV is asked to get in touch.”
