Appeal following serious road crash in Bearsden, Glasgow

Police in Glasgow are appealing for information after a woman died following a serious road crash in Bearsden today (Thursday, 28 May).
The incident happened around 12pm on Speirs Road and involved a white Citroen Relay Panel Van and an 80-year-old woman.
Emergency services attended, however the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed until 4.15pm whilst enquiries were carried out.
Road Policing Sergeant Jon Mochan said: "We are supporting the woman's family at this incredibly difficult time.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the crash but has not yet spoken to police to come forward. I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dash cam footage which could help with our investigation."
