Appeal following serious crash in Invergordon

Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses following a two-car crash in Invergordon.
The incident happened around 4pm on Wednesday, 13 May, 2020, on Saltburn Road, Invergordon.
A white coloured Peugeot 2008 was travelling west towards Invergordon Town Centre when it collided with a grey coloured Volkswagen Golf travelling in the opposite direction.
As a result of the collision, two people, an 87-year-old man and a 26- year-old woman were taken to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness with serious injuries.
The woman was released following treatment and the man remains receiving treatment.
The road was closed between 9pm and midnight for crash investigation.
Sergeant Alasdair Mackay, of the Road Policing Unit based at Dingwall, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen either vehicle in the Invergordon area shortly before the collision to get in touch.
“We are also appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who has dashcam footage or any other information which may assist to get in touch.”
