Assault and robbery, Burrells Lane, Glasgow City centre

Today, Wednesday 11 March, 2020, police in Glasgow have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries in relation to an investigation into an assault and robbery.
The incident took place on Wednesday, 18 December, 2019, at around 19:15 at Burrells Lane, near to High Street in the city centre. A man suffered minor facial injuries and had a sum of money stolen.
Officers believe the men pictured may have information to assist their investigation and anyone who recognises either of them is urged to come forward.
Both males are described as white, early to mid – 20s, medium build with short dark hair. One of the males is seen in the image wearing a blue Nike tracksuit top. The other can be seen wearing a dark grey and green hooded top with dark green jogging bottoms.
Police are appealing directly to the two men to get in touch, or alternatively for anyone with any information relating to either the incident or the men to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3226 of 18 December, 2019.
