Appeal after serious assault in Renfrew

Detectives in Renfrew are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in the Robertson Park area.
The 23-year-oldman was assaulted around 8pm on Saturday 21 March. He was treated Royal Alexandria Hospital with shoulder and leg injuries.
The victim was wearing a blue jacket with a black hooded top underneath and grey tracksuit bottoms. Officers are appealing for any who witnessed the assault or saw the victim in the area to come forward.
Detective Constable Liam Rodgers, from Paisley CID, said: “Whilst we don’t have descriptions of the suspect or suspects in this case, we are asking for anyone who was in the Robertson Park area on Saturday evening to contact us, as any information could prove vital.
