Serious Assault - Ardoch Crescent - Dumbarton

Police in Dumbarton are continuing enquiries and appealing for information following an assault on a 33-year-old man in Dumbarton on Saturday, 6 June 2020.
Around 11.50 pm on Saturday, 6 June, the 33-year-old man was attacked in Ardoch Crescent by a group of men brandishing a variety of weapons.
The men then made off in two cars in the direction of Glencairn Road, Dumbarton.
The 33-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where he was treated for his injuries.
Area Commander Chief Inspector Scott Carlin, said:
“Violence and antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and will be dealt with robustly. We have additional officers on patrol in the area and I would encourage anyone with concerns to speak to them.
“It is important that we trace those responsible and colleagues in CID are following a positive line of enquiry however I would urge anyone with any information that may assist this enquiry to contact police.”
