Man charged, housebreakings, Fife

A 35-year-old man has been charged following a series of housebreakings in the St Andrews area of Fife.
Four houses were broken into on Tuesday, 3 March, 2020, and a substantial amount of jewellery and other valuables were stolen. The incidents happened on Berry Place, Learmonth Place, Crawford Gardens and Priory Gardens.
As a result of an extensive investigation carried out by Levenmouth CID, a man has been charged and will appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today (Tuesday 2 June).
Detective Constable Alan Shovlin, from Levenmouth CID, said:
"We are delighted that our inquiry has led to an arrest however there is still a considerable amount of valuables, including jewellery and commemorative coins outstanding. I would urge anyone who may have information about the location of the outstanding property or who has been offered commemorative coins/ unique jewellery for sale to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3572 of 4 March."
