Appeal following serious assault in Kilbirnie

Police in North Ayrshire are appealing for information following a serious assault in Kilbirnie.
The incident happened around 1.30am on Saturday, 20 June, 2020 when a 40-year-old man was assaulted by a group on Holmhead.
The victim was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment.
The first suspect is described as male, 5ft 7ins tall, of stocky build, in his 30s with light brown short hair and a stubbly beard. He was wearing dark clothing, a top that zipped up with writing on it and a dark baseball cap.
The second suspect is described as male, late 20s, of slim build with light brown hair. He was wearing a white shirt and dark jogging bottoms and was on a bike.
The third suspect is described as male, late 20s, of slim build, with dark hair and was wearing dark clothing.
Detective Sergeant Stephen McCulloch, of Saltcoats CID, said:
“We are appealing for anyone with any information which may help with our enquiries and who has not already spoken to us to get in touch.
“We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the victim or the suspects prior to or after the incident to get in touch.”
