Appeal following serious assault, Glasgow

Officers in Glasgow are appealing for information following a serious assault that happened in the Maryhill Road area of the city on Monday, 8 June.
A 53-year-old man was assaulted near the junction of Bilsland Drive, Maryhill Road and Queen Margaret Drive around 11.30am. He sustained serious facial injuries and was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault. In particular they are looking for information on a blue car with up to four men inside that was at the junction at the time of the incident.
